Crush Fat and Knock Out Stress with This ‘Combat Cardio' Workout

Life would be so much easier if you could just take a swing sometimes--at the coworker who criticizes your work or the guy in the Yukon who just cut you off.

But you can't. So do this 3-minute combat-inspired cardio challenge instead. You'll reap the cathartic benefit of letting your fists fly without the risk of actual bruises (or jail time).

Just follow along to the video above from Men's Health Fitness Director BJ Gaddour, creator of Bodyweight Cardio Burners--a cutting-edge fitness DVD that offers three intense 20-minute workouts that require no equipment.

In this routine, you'll alternate between floor-based core exercises to hit your abs, arms, and shoulders, and standing combat movements to attack fat for 3 minutes straight. And don't count reps. Work against the clock like a real boxer, trying to get as many reps as possible for each exercise. Go all-out and kick ass--because that's what you really want to do, isn't it?
